Livelihood improvement and poverty alleviation project

As part of Vision of Love’s livelihood improvement and poverty alleviation project, it distributed 1 month old chicks to the 25 families in Sivanagar village in Sri Lanka. 25 chicks were issued to each family and the total number of chicks issued was 625. Vision of Love’s dry ration for July 2017

Vision of Love’s dry ration for month of July was issued to 54 people who were from 9 villages in Vanni, Sri Lanka. The amount of rice and the dal issued was according to the number of family members, which ranged from 1 person to 6 people. The small families received 7.5kg of rice and 1kg of dal while large families received 17kg of rice and 2kg of dal. For more information, please contact us via info@vision-of-love.org.

Tube well for a poor family

Vision of Love sponsored a tube well for a poor family living in Arali, Jaffna. Father is living with his wife and two children. One child aged 12 is paralysed and mentally retarded. They are living in a small house built with government’s assistance. But there is no well for water supply for the house. With the paralysed child they are undergoing severe hardship for water.
