Vision of Love’s dry ration for month of August was issued to 57 people who were from 10 villages in Vanni, Sri Lanka. The amount of rice and the dal issued was according to the number of family members, which ranged from 1 person to 6 people. As part of Vision of Love’s livelihood improvement and poverty alleviation project, it distributed 1 month old chicks to the 25 families in Sivanagar village in Sri Lanka. 25 chicks were issued to each family and the total number of chicks issued was 625.
