Vision of Love is pleased to organise a free eye screening camp at District General Hospital (DGH), Trincomalee on 13th Feb 2018. In total 32 people participated in the camp from Kilivetty and surrounding villages. A number of staff from DGH Trincomalee including Consultant Ophthalmologist involved with the camp. Vision of Love’s dry ration for month of February was issued to 62 people who were from 14 villages in Vanni, Sri Lanka. The amount of rice and the dal issued was according to the number of family members, which ranged from 1 person to 6 people. Vision of Love (VOL) laid the foundation for the second house in the village Nehrupuram in the Thirukkovil AGA division in the Ampara district in August 2017. The income of the family is very low and they’re facing many problems in their day to day life. The children don’t eat enough food and don’t concentrate in their studies due to poverty.
