On the 21st April 2018, EHV conducted a parenting program for which 198 parents/guardians were present with 95% of them being mothers. In this session, the officials of the Education Department such as principals and the in-service advisors interacted with the parents emphasising important points such as parents being a good role model for children, negative impacts of modern technology and encouraging kids to read outside of school curriculum. Feedback was also given from the parents regarding the EHV programme and the positive impacts it has had on their children. They have observed their children to be more studious, developed confidence in interpersonal and communicative skills and more improved behaviour.
